No, I did not pay any dollars to see it (what is it, $12 now? it's been so long). The flattening and greying out of the cam image perhaps allowed me to not notice the differences bt CGI and live action, which apparently bugged many bloggers who saw it in an IMAX theater. everyone in my little lefty enclave has been walking around with sorrowful or vacant faces. some of the graduate students are returning to sf and shutting it down. my students are experiencing their first dissillusionment and feeling it ( hard. )
